Summary: 

     Jesus tells a parable about a king and his wedding banquet for his son. He invites people, but they refuse to come. He sends servants to tell them that he has prepared dinner. He invites them one more. They ignored the invitation and went to their daily lives. Some went to his field and others went to their business. The rest of the people seized the king's servants and killed them. The king became enraged and killed the murders and burned their city. 

     He then tells the servants to bring anyone on the streets for the people he invited did not deserve to come. The wedding room soon began to be full of people, both bad and good. When the king came to see his guests, he sees a man not wearing wedding clothes. He calls the attendants and they drag him off. "For many are invited, but few are chosen."

Analysis:

     God sends disciples to invite selective people, the Jews. When the disciples do, the people don't pay attention, they don't care. The disciples are persistent and continue to go and spread the word of God. When they do, they are mistreated and killed. Out of anger, God punishes these people with death. 

     God then opens up the invitation to everyone and many people come. The kingdom of God is opened up to sinners as well through love and grace. The clothes are provided by God meaning God has given every opportunity to come in wedding clothes.  One man does not and is thrown out. 

    Status doesn't matter to God. He just wants us to take the opportunity to believe in him and come to the kingdom of God, heaven.
