2/13/16 Jesus Cares

Summary: Jesus is surrounded by a crowd of those who came to see him.  They are mostly those of faith, who want to know more about him.  As the days draws on, they become hungry.  Jesus, who feels compassionately towards these people, wants to feed them before they leave.  Otherwise, they may collapse on the way back.  However, they only have a few fish and loaves of bread among them.  So, Jesus takes this small amount and multiplies it greatly, feeding more than four thousand people.  Afterwards, there are even leftovers for the disciples to pick up.

Analysis: Jesus feels compassionate towards his followers and has only their best interests at heart. He really wants the best for all of us.  And when he does give to us, he can do amazing things.  He can take a few meager scraps and provide a bounty.  He gives in abundance.
