Matthew 4:1-11
STANDING IN THE MIDST OF TEMPTATION
Summary:
This is while Jesus is around he is following the Holy Spirit. He was going to be tested by Satan and he did not eat for forty days and nights. Satan tempted Jesus by offering him stuff and Jesus refused everything and stated why he should not do it. In the end Jesus passed the test and Satan went away.
Basically that.
Analysis:
Satan is testing Jesus by offering him stuff and they all go against what God has said. Jesus is Using the word to protect him which shows how he is having the same temptations as us and he is still free of sin.
IN LOIFE:
This shows that the bible has all the information to live a faithful life and it shows that Jesus is human like us, but he is free of sin due to how faithful he is. This showed me that I should read the bible more or when I need help and may be in a situation where I can be tempted. The bible has information about almost EVERYTHING and it should be used like Jesus uses it.
